VALORANT’s monthly player count to increase by twofold
Riot Games has a history of keeping the official player counts for the bulk of its games a secret, which forces those who are curious to make assumptions using data from outside websites.
However, a recent post by Cecilia D’Anastasio, a games journalist for Bloomberg, revealed a current number as well as the main age bracket.
According to the report, 28 million people play VALORANT every month, a growth of 14 million from 2021.

Riot Games further asserted that the Generation Z group, or around 19.6 million players on a monthly basis, accounts up 70% of VALORANT gamers.

Riot did not divulge the amount that VALORANT players spent, but it was highlighted that this money allows Riot to “keep the game free-to-play” and enhance it with more features and content.
The gap between Zoomers and more seasoned players is also preserved by the professional esports sector for the game.
Although there aren’t many players in the worldwide VCT leagues who are 28 years of age or older participating at the highest level, a large influx of players in the 13–16 age group is likely to be introduced over the next several years.
